About Us

VietCircles.com is a Social Network website for our Vietnamese community. We believe that it�s about time our community had one. Viet Circles has many purposes, from making friends, networking, keeping in touch with old friends, and community involvement. Our underlining mission for VietCircles.com is to unite our Vietnamese community.

As you can see, our community is spread out all over the world. Even from a localized point of view, our Vietnamese population in Bolsa, California is tragically divided. From community groups, non-profit organizations, VSA clubs, associations, and businesses, our community is too spread out. There is no ONE unifying entity to connect our community. We are a bright, intelligent, and success people but why are we so divided? That was the one question that many of us questioned, which lead to our inspiration and mission to close this gap. That�s why we decided to create VietCircles.com�

Case in Point: A lot of our friends belong to many worthwhile organizations and clubs, like ProjectVietnam.net, Vietnamese Federal Labor Oversea, Vietnamese Cancer Association, Vietnamese Student Association (VSA), and Mustard Seeds etc, but when it came down to getting the word out to the community about their individual missions, everyone was lost. No one even knew where to begin or go to, in order to spread the word about many of these great causes.

When they wanted to do fundraisers for their organizations, it took volunteers much wasted time and exhaustive efforts to inform our Vietnamese community to get sponsors and support. In the end, volunteers usually end up getting support for fund raising from either friends or family members, but not from the general Vietnamese community.

There must be a better way don�t you think? With all the success of our Vietnamese community, why are we still third world in helping our community?

On the other end, we have many professional friends, from health care professionals to successful business owners. They all want to give back and help out our community, be it here or in Vietnam, but they really don�t know where to start. They don�t know which organizations, clubs, or associations exist. Hence, with the support of members like you, we can help unite our community into one Global destination for all Vietnamese across the world to communicate, network, share ideas, and solidify our Vietnamese heritage and culture.
